We’ve put together a special Christmas gift with lots of fun challenges to grow your FAITH, strengthen your FAMILY and serve your WORLD.

Here’s how it works:

For the first part of your gift, we’re giving you the chance to join SUSIE’s December cover girl, Anna Lipscomb, in providing hope for teen girls in Haiti through the SUSIE Christmas Challenge. By working with The Global Orphan Project, Anna’s already started funding girls’ homes in a village called Saintilus, and we’re going to help continue the work she’s begun. The girl who raises the most money by December 31 will win a trip to Haiti with Anna and her mom to visit the village we’ve been building and to meet the girls who live there!*

As you participate in the SUSIE Christmas Challenge, take advantage of the second part of your gift by visiting this site every day leading up to Christmas. Starting December 1, we’ll post something new every day to encourage you in your faith and OPEN your heart to Jesus this Christmas season. Each day’s encouragement will include a devo, a time for journaling and a super-fun bonus challenge. This part of your gift is called the Christmas Journey.

To enter the Challenge, you’ll need to create an account on www.crowdrise.com/susieMagazine. After you’ve registered online, visit our Resources page for email and letter templates to send family and friends, creative fundraising ideas and more. The Challenge begins November 25, 2011, and ends December 31, 2011.
